As a focal reducer, this accessory will reduce your focal ratio by 0.7 for a wider field of view and increased image illumination in shorter exposure intervals. Explore Scientific recommend this accessory for their 102mm, 115mm, 127mm, 140mm, 152mm, and 165mm triplet APO refractors. Please note that if you have a telescope with a 2.5" focuser, you will need .
